Cheetah Project & VW History
Visiting the Daniell Cheetah Project near Port Elizabeth is a dream for many. Founded in 2001 to conserve cheetahs, the project now houses diverse animals. A Predator Tour, led by knowledgeable guides, introduces meerkats, cheetahs, lions, and more, with chances to pet a cheetah sometimes, even hand-feed orphaned kudus.
VW AutoPavilion is a must-visit. Known as the “Place of Cars and Legends,” a journey through over 70 years of VW’s legacy in South Africa. Opened in 2004, it showcases more than 40 iconic vehicles, including rare models like the 1938 DKW F5 Reichklasse, classic Beetles, and futuristic concept cars. Kragga Kamma Game Park
Kragga Kamma Game Park, is a small yet vibrant wildlife reserve spanning over 200 hectares. This park offers an excellent opportunity to see a variety of African animals, including white Rhinos, Buffalo, Cheetahs, Giraffes, Zebras, and several antelope species like Nyala and Bontebok.
The park is also home to over 200 Bird species, making it a haven for birdwatchers.
